As a Dispatch Clerk, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient and timely dispatch of goods to our valued customers.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Update, maintain and keep accurate the records related to jobs being dispatched.
- Ensure jobs do not leave without the appropriate paperwork (invoices and material certificates)
- Ensure that sales orders, job cards and COC’s from sub-contractors are filed appropriately.
- Ensure parts are delivered to the correct sub-contractor for powder coating or electroplating.
- Receive material from customers and update appropriate departments
- Track production over runs (via a tracker) - align them with purchase orders and inform the Laser department
- Work closely with QC to ensure parts going out are to spec.
- Work closely with Receiving’s Clerk to keep dispatch area organised and parts moving swiftly to customers
- Work closely with Accounts to receive the necessary paperwork
- Liaise with customers on an occasional basis

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- Grade 12 imperative
- Further education advantageous
- Attention to detail is imperative.
- Computer literate, good Excel Skills
- Good filing skills

**Experience**:

- Dispatch: 5 years (required)
- Microsoft Excel: 5 years (required)
