While the everyday nature of the role will be to ensure efficient operations, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; other important tasks include tracking & maintaining profitability alongside the owner of the establishment.
To be successful in the restaurant aspect of the role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house functions. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity. Back of house management experience is also essential, as you will manage kitchen staff, oversee work schedules and ensure that our food remains at the highest standard in addition to ensuring compliance with health and safety restaurant regulations. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.
To be successful in the guesthouse aspect of the role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee the maintenance function across all rooms, ensuring that each room is in working order.
- Ensure all accounts are accurately kept track of on a monthly basis.
- Help optimise the booking process & customer experience.
- Assist with customer service where needed.
- Breakfast service
- Check in and out
- Quality Control
