ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.618 Paraplanner

Staying up to date on product changes and enhancements Staying up to date on the financial planning industry and new trends Client Information gathering Consolidating and re-structure of a client's existing portfolio Compiling a financial needs analysis based on information gathered

Qualifications required: RE exams and NQF5 or industry related degree
**Requirements**:
3-5 Years Discovery systems and product experience
3-5 Years smart advice FNA / ROA & compliance experience

Ability to plan across all product lines including:

- Life
- Disability
- Severe Illness
- Income Protection
- Retirement
- Investment goals
- Preparing various quotations based on FNA findings -Replacement analysis and comparisons between existing products and new proposed products.
- Assisting Advisor with RAR using analysis above -Completing, documenting, and preparing a financial assessment for the Advisor to present to their client.
- Servicing changes on existing client base -Finalising servicing quotes -Preparing summary for of proposal for review by Advisor and client -Re - iterating the DRO value proposition and need for vitality engagement.
- Transferring quotes data to excel and or PowerPoint.
- General reporting and planning as required by Advisors -Liaising with PA and Advisor to ensure that we offer holistic, best advice, financial planning to our clients with excellent client service.

Key Traits
- Time management and workflow must be impeccable -Must be detail orientated, conscientious and organised -Adaptability. Must be able to work with a panel of different Advisors -Discovery product knowledge required -Discovery system experience needed (FAZ, Smart Advice) -Will need to work under pressure at times.
