Manage and oversee all processes, procedures, personnel, and vehicles in the repo yard, and at the in-house workshop.
- Set routines for daily planning on WIP.
- Set routines for daily planning on parts ordering, deliveries, and alternatives
- Carry out regular meetings with staff, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Verify there is an efficient flow in the workshop, ensuring good quality, and good turnaround time.
- Monitor the ongoing condition of workshop tools and equipment, arranging purchase, repair, and calibration.
- Monitor and handle all process deviations and initiate proper actions and escalations.
- Coordinate the spare parts activity to ensure parts availability together with the warranty liaison, to ensure warranty procedures are adhered to.
- Keep record of and manage the vehicles at outwork suppliers.
- Arrange and approve all auto electrical work on site.
- Manage the company issued card for daily purchases.
- Approve and/or decline all quotations for vehicle repairs, towing, CAPEX, and other expenditure.
- Approve and/or decline all requests for purchase orders.
- Manage the workshop facilities, and yard in general.
- Create working time schedules for all workshop work.
- Attend to daily workshop reporting, sent daily to BoD.
- Manage workshop and yard personnel.
- Manage inter departmental relations with all employees and stakeholders.
- Monitor the processing of complaints and process major or complicated complaints.
- Participate in meetings with Key stakeholders when required.
- Manage and monitor workshop efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all admin is done correctly, and on time on a daily basis.
- Ensure repair and maintenance spend is within budget parameters.
- Ensure vehicle locations on database, matches physical vehicle locations.
- Ensure vehicles made ‘Floor Ready’ meets the expected standard.
- Proactively initiate improvement activities, ensuring conditions are in place to achieve workshop and yard goals.
- Weekly reports on MTD spend, productivity, and other workshop/yard activities.

- **Qualifications**:_
- Trade test qualification (Diesel or Petrol) preferable.
- Min 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Min 5 years in a management role.
- Understanding of general business principles.
- Read and write both English and Afrikaans.
- Computer literate.
- Valid license.
- Competencies: Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- Good attention to detail.
- Must have strong leadership qualities

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Montana, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
