Signal Hill Products is looking for an ROA Planner (SA Exports + E2E ROA Planning)

Position/Title: ROA Planner (SA Exports + E2E ROA Planning)
Reports To: Planning Manager
Function: Support
Area: Johannesburg

Overall Responsibility:
Plans and embeds ROA export volumes ex SA and manages tactical E2E planning in ROA.

Main responsibilities
- Compile statistics to support the business, normalising data adequately and using the most relevant model per data set at lowest granularity on different lags, continually measuring which lag offers the best results.
- Set up and Manage E2E Planning KPIs to reduce business risk and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing stakeholders to enrich forecasts.
- Setting up S&OP and S&OE routines for ROA and attending SA Exec S&OP to inform on any risks for ROA
- Adhering to routine timelines to ensure a rhythmic publication of requirements.
- Compiles and communicates a Primary distribution load plan for SA Exports and ROA for the operational horizon, next 4 weeks.
- Liaises with commercial, internal Logistics, 3PL and customers to support Finished Goods transport from bonded facilities cross-border.
- Collaborates with logistics to optimize loads to minimize costs.
- Compiles Tactical Demand, Production, Transportation and Raw material plans for ROA.
- Maintain system master data to ensure plans generated is accurate for planning scope defined.
- Update inventory policies taking into account supply chain variability on a routine basis to ensure the business has sufficient stock to meet customer requirements whilst reducing obsolescence risk and supporting cashflow.
- Ensure stock builds for maintenance and seasonal requirements are planned for within capacity.
- Set up and run a Cost Optimisation Network Allocation model to establish what would be the most cost efficient Brewery to support, managing COGS and ensuring stock remains within policy.
- Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders - Logistics, Production, Demand, Raw materials and Maintenance Teams.
- Supports on reverse logistics planning where applicable.
- Manages the relationship with raw material suppliers to support business objectives.

Requirements of the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain management, or a related field
- Experience in working with carries or logistics is a plus

Preferred Skills/Competencies
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis and statistical forecasting techniques.
- Proficiency in supply chain planning software and tools is beneficial.
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts, demand & inventory management, and production planning.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work with large datasets.
- solving skills and the ability to analyse complex demand patterns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
