**Requirements**:

- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Grade 12 - I.T. Related tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent preferred
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent preferred
- Must have own vehicle
- Great communication skills
- English - High proficiency in reading, writing and speaking, with a second language being beneficial
- Customer-centric
- Knows how to deal with 5* clientele in a Professional, Friendly, Approachable and Patient manner.
- Responds courteously and efficiently to queries and problems from guests and system users.

**To be fully responsible for the day-to-day support of**:

- Guests - Mobile, laptop, connectivity, and any general
- or technology related queries. Guest satisfaction is the no.1 priority.
- Staff - Helpdesk for laptops, printers, OS and Hospitality apps, etc. Offer support service to our various teams to enable them to offer the best service to our guests. Hardware, software, connectivity and all other technology related matters to be supported.
- Infrastructure Support - Firewalls, AP’s, servers, etc. Requires good knowledge of these and how to troubleshoot, configure and support these

**Key Performance Areas**
- Responsible for smooth functioning and co-ordination of vendors for Guest Internet, Property Management Systems - PMS, Point of Sale - POS, Central Reservations Systems - CRS (Central Reservations System), TV Streaming Services, Telephony systems and other software vendors.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems and liaise with vendors for warranty claims.
- Setup and configure laptops and desktops i.e., clean Windows Install with various accounts
- Should be capable of doing Root Cause Analysis
- Must know the Network fundamentals, general network setup and device configuration. FortiNet and Ubiquity knowledge would be advantageous
- Extensive record keeping and daily updating of ticketing system
- Able to document FAQ’s and other KB Articles
- Extensive knowledge on Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Management, and Implementations would be advantageous
- Identifies and implements solutions to user challenges and concerns associated with the use of personal computer equipment.
- Monitors and maintains proper inventory of hardware and software license.
- Keep updated with the latest hotel technology and security risks on a regular basis.
- Able to perform other IT or Systems related tasks assigned by the management and to be ready and responsible to perform any other duties as designated or required by General Management from time to time provided that this is within the incumbent’s vocational abilities.

**Package**:

- Salary: R20 000- R25 000 D.O.E
- Generally, Monday to Friday work week (unless needed otherwise as it is hospitality)
