Finance Head

Do you offer a wealth of experience from gaining experience in the restaurant and retail industry, getting involved in not just the Finance side but also the Strategic and Operations side of the business? Our client is looking for a senior finance professional coming from a leadership role to take responsibility for a large-scale business’ Financial health.

Implement and maintain treasury policies and procedures

Oversee the checking of cash ups

Report and follow up on variances

Petty cash management

Budgeting and Planning

Analysis of income and expenditure against budget

Track and report on expenditure

Implement, maintain and improve policies and procedures

Ensure compliance with controls, governance and legislation

Presentation of financial reports to board members

Ensure all deadlines and regulatory requirements are met

Review financial data and prepare reports

Oversee payroll function and admin

Ensure all finance and admin staff are trained as required

Implement and maintain all time keeping policies

Implement and maintain stock policies and procedures

Oversee and investigate stock variances

Manage staff performance

**Skills & Experience**:
Restaurant Retail industry exposure

Minimum 7 or more years in a leadership position

Understand Financial accounting, support models, operations and profit/ loss drivers

CA(SA)/CMA

**Qualification**:
CA(SA)

MBA OR

CIMA
