**MINIMUM CRITERIA**
- Grade 12
- Previous experience advantageous
**REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Manage calls for residents and book appointments accordingly.
- Daily reception duties (i.e. switchboard, taking messages, filing, setting up meetings, etc.).
- Receiving residents, prospective purchasers, suppliers and visitors.
- Monthly reports, timesheets, billing and admin support.
- Order stationary and medical supplies.
- Greet patients and families as they enter into the facility and guide them accordingly.
- Answer telephones, direct calls to relevant staff and take messages and intercom requests.
- Act as liaison between nurses, physicians and patients by relaying important information.
- Be able to work well under pressure, always be kind to staff and residents but assertive.
- Ensure that resident patients’ medical records are updated, accurate and secure.
- Request and co-ordinate lab tests and medication for patients.
- Arranging food with the club house for the patients in the unit.
