***Key Performance Areas**:

- Lecturing in the form of either face-to-face sessions with students and/or online sessions;
- Invigilation of formative assessment as may be required;
- Diligent preparation for lectures, including preparation of in-class activities;
- Marking and providing constructive feedback to students on all assessments;
- **Competencies required**:

- Technical Skills
- Communication Skills
- Organisational Skills
- Effective classroom management skills
- Open to the further development of teaching practice
**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- An Honours degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Systems/Information Technology

Or:

- An Honours degree or higher in similarly related fields with programming to the third-year level
**Minimum Experience Required**:

- Lecturing experience in programming
Relevant industry experience in your language or technology of speciality is essential, whilst lecturing or teaching experience is preferable
- More specifically, experience in one or more of the following technologies:

- JavaScript (React, Angular, etc.)
- Cloud Development (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Mobile Application Development (Android/iOS)
- Database Systems (SQL, Oracle, NoSQL, Firebase, MongoDB, etc.)
- Operating Systems (Windows/Linux)
