Job description

We’re looking for a hard-working individual to join the **Production Department at Solar MD**; located in Montague Gardens. As a new and exciting venture, we want a dynamic individual who is motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable. In this role, you will contribute towards the assembling of batteries and improve the overall efficiency of our company and the quality of our transmissions.

**Battery Manufacturing Assistant Requirements**:

**Battery Manufacturing Assistant Responsibilities**:

- Support a culture of safe production and operation as well as follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work in various departments in the different stages of Production
- Ensure waste management standards are met within the Production Department.

**Additional Requirements for departments**:

- _**Packaging / QC Department**:_ Power tools, Stock Take, Hand tools, Electrical Knowledge, QC experience, Excellent attention to detail
- _**Pre-Assembly Department**:_ Power tools, Stock Take, Hand tools
- _**BMU-Assembly Department**:_ Electrical knowledge, Power tools, Hand tools, stock take, Leadership skills
- **Battery Assembly Deparment**:Electrical knowledge, Power tools, Hand tools, stock take

**Experience**:

- Ability to work with power tools and equipment
- +- 1-year assembly experience
- Experience as per requirements above
- Reside within 20km of Montague Gardens

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

**Salary**: R6,000.00 per month
