**Job Purpose**:
The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent and suitably qualified individual to present practical and theoretical classes to students and other role players in agriculture. This post is stationed in Elsenburg, Stellenbosch.

**Minimum Requirements**:
An appropriate 4-year BSc degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience.

**Recommendation**:
Working knowledge of extension interventions and project management; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

**Competencies**:
Proven knowledge of Agricultural Extension; Skills needed: Communication (written and verbal); Computer literacy; Leadership, Planning and Organising; Formal training and presentation.

**Remuneration**:
R 359 517 per annum (Salary level 8).
