**Entity and activity description**
Air Liquide started its business in South Africa over 60 years ago and employs more than 600 people today. Air Liquide supplies industrial and specialty gases to the steel, automotive and fabrication, food and beverage, mining, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and glass industries. It also supplies medical gases through a network of many state and private hospitals as well as solutions and services to home based patients.

Reporting to the Communications Director - Africa Cluster and ALLISA, The Communications coordinator is responsible for the implementation of all internal communication activities for ALLISA as per the Group Communications Directive.

**Missions and Responsibilities**
His/Her main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Plan and execute on the internal communications strategy and provide support on the external communication plan to promote positive stakeholder interaction and perception.
- Validate corporate messages through the adherence to Group Communication Standards as set out in the Air Liquide Bluebook and organisational Corporate Identity Guidelines.
- Analyze and participate in planned (and unplanned) corporate communication through support and validation of intended corporate communication messages (posters, brochures, profiles, videos, images etc).
- Write content, promote and optimize communication resources inclusive of the ALLISA Intranet, newsletter, GM messages among others.
- Serve as the point of contact for all internal communication initiatives.
- Responsible for consistent update of messages across the sites
- Support the HR Employee Experience CoE in driving employee engagement through valuable internal communication interaction - inclusive of events and written/verbal communication.
- Develops and supports associated projects when required.

**Competencies and Profile** Education**:
University Degree or diploma with a focus on PR/ Communication or equivalent

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience in a related field
- Working knowledge of Gmail and Google tools including Docs, Slides and Sheets
- Graphic design skills an added advantage
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Fluent in English

This position is based in Secunda, Mpumalanga.
