Structure, Grade & Reporting Job grade/level M4 Business Unit Cloud Platform Solutions Department Cyber Security Position reports to Managing Executive: Cyber Security Span of Control 1-3 Core Description
Manages and controls resources required to deliver the contracted services to clients within the Network Security Operations sphere. Responsible for providing input into an integrated infrastructure and resources risk (OHS and Network Security) strategy, applicable to the entire organisation and across its retail assets, data centres, masts, towers, exchanges, general buildings and offices. Implements and oversees the security-related components of the integrated infrastructure and resources risk (OHS and Network Security) strategy through security policies and procedures. Responsible for putting measures in place to ensure all security-related governance, compliance and legislative requirements are adhered to by all employees (permanent and non-permanent), sub-contractors, suppliers and service providers. Provides leadership to the security team and ensures optimum performance. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
- Provide input into an integrated Network Security strategy and implementation planning and ensure the development, planning, and implementation of Security policies and procedures
- Provide technical expertise, leadership, and support for all Network Security initiatives
- Compile and manage the Network Security budget and support the development of the divisional budget, expenditure and performance reporting
- Provide leadership and direction to the Security division to ensure effective and efficient Security operations
- Execute relevant programs throughout the organisation that will ensure the entrenchment of a world-class and Security compliant culture
- Compile and analyse Network Security trend reports and ensure the implementation of preventative measures
- Leverage technology and systems to create processes and support systems that are sustainable and scalable
- Implement a consistent Risk Management framework, provide inputs into policy, supporting guidance and procedures on Risk Management
- Be responsible for effectively leading, managing and developing the Network Security team to ensure execution excellence
- Direct and oversee implementation of the division work plan, assigned work, activities, and projects Functional Skills
