WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Qualifications are not necessarily required, but preference will be given to persons with a certificate, diploma or degree, and experience in:

- Business intelligence and social media
- Digital and social media marketing
- Social media and interactive technologies
- Must have experience with using artificial intelligence
- Must have a proven record of converting social media presence into sales

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop creative and engaging social media strategies.
- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels, such as Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels.
- Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools.
- Create engaging multimedia content across multiple platforms.
- Develop, launch and manage competitions and campaigns that promote your organization and brand.
- Form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms and undertake audience research.
- Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions.
- Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity.
- Research and analyse competitor activity.
- Recommend improvements to increase performance.
- Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement.
- Educate other staff on using social media and promote its use within your company (in-house roles).
- Encourage collaboration across teams and departments.
- Build a strong network with appropriate media houses.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Needs to live in Cape Town. Work travel 5 days a week. Work some weekends.
