**VACANCY: Training Officer**

**Purpose**:
To Train employees by facilitating classroom learning and practical training.

The incumbent will also be responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating, and conducting all training programs.

**Location: Gauteng**

**Principal Accountabilities**:
**Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following**:

- Plan to provide staff with the necessary skills to meet their objectives
- Plan, execute, maintain and control the activities of the training function to meet
organisational goals
- Plans and conducts the training needs analysis of the organisation by continuous
liaison with HR and Managers of the various divisions
- Conduct on-the-job training to ensure employees are equipped to efficiently
perform their duties e.g., Warehouses
- Develops learning materials to meet the organisation-specific training needs
- In cases where no accredited training is available, design such material according
to SAQA standards to meet internal client specifications advantage
- Conduct annual skills gap analysis, make recommendations regarding training and
development interventions to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary
skills
- Establish systems to standardize facilitation, assessment, and moderation within
the organization.
- Travel as an operational requirement of the function.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the relevant Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision.
- Detail and process orientated.
- Effective administration and organizing skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
- Effective critical thinking skills.
- Best practice knowledge and expertise in the field of Human Resources, Sector
Education Training Authority accreditations and Training and Development.

**Key requirements include**:

- Relevant Qualification NQF level 6 or Equivalent.
- 3-5 Years’ experience working as a Training Coordinator within Engineering
environment.
- Moderator, Assessor and Facilitator accreditation.
- SETA Accreditation with MERSETA (Manufacturing, Engineering and Related
Services Seta) and ETDP SETA (Education, Training and Development Practices
Sector Education Training Authority.

**Remuneration: (Annually)**
- **Market Related - Based on Experience (R180 000 - 270 000)**

**Subject Line must be clearly marked with Training Officer.**

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R180,000.00 - R270,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
