Reports to : Assistant Executive Housekeeper/Executive Housekeeper

**General**

To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service always, Good communicative English skills, reading, writing and speaking. Basic computeroperating skills Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotelpremises in general in a clean and orderly manner. Also coordinatingdaily housekeepingoperations and maintaining the housekeeping operating standards.

You are also responsible for supervising room attendantsto deliver an excellent Guestsatisfaction and experience. On time-to-time basis may also be required to assist the Executive or Assistant Housekeeper in various activities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for smooth operation of the floor assigned.
- Responsible for the performance of Room Attendants.
- Supervise Room Attendants
- Organises and facilitates the room making process.
- Daily allocationof rooms and deep cleaningtasks to team members.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house area of the floor.
- Checks the occupiedand departurerooms, giving special attention to guest needs.
- Ensures that the entire operation is performed as per the laid down standards.
- To organise immediately the guest needs under intimation to Executive
- Manage guest requests, including VIPamenitiesand communicating them to the relevant team members
- Routine inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards.
- Aware of all room categories and amenities.
- Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Carry out lost and foundprocedures.
- Report maintenance issues to Maintenance Department.
- Assist Assistant or Executive Housekeeper with training requirements.
- Represent the needs of the team to others in the lodge.
- Comply with lodge security, fireregulations and all health and safetylegislation.
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.

Skills Requirements:

- To ensure the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms prior to evening occupancy.
- Housekeeping supervisors oversee the duties performed by the housekeeping staff in rooms etc,
- The qualifications for the job include housekeeping experience.
- The keen observation skills, an orientation to detail and competence in verbal and written communication.
- Training the housekeeping staff is a primary responsibility of supervisors. This means educating new hires on the organization's policies and procedures
- It’s methods of cleaning and maintenance, the location of supplies and the layout of the facility.
