Laundry Technician

***:**_Key Responsibilities:_**

**- **Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines**

**- **Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies**

**- **Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures**

**- **Perform routine maintenance and repairs on laundry equipment**

**- **Train and supervise ship's laundry staff on proper laundry procedures and safety protocols**

**- **Ensure that all laundry operations comply with company and industry standards**

**- **Keep accurate records of laundry usage and expenses**

**- **Communicate with ship's management and crew to ensure timely and efficient laundry services**

**- **Maintain a clean and organized laundry facility at all times**

**_ Qualifications:_**

**- **High school diploma or equivalent**

**- **Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Laundry Technician, preferably in a maritime setting**

**- **Knowledge of laundry equipment and procedures**

**- **Excellent organizational and time-management skills**

**- **Strong attention to detail**

**- **Ability to work independently and in a team environment**

**- **Good communication and interpersonal skills**

**- **Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed**

**- **Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads**

**- **Valid certification in laundry operations is a plus**
