**Epko Oil Seed Crushing (Pty) Ltd is a progressive company involved in the procurement and**
**processing of oilseeds, the sales of vegetable oil and related products. The plant, with a**
**capacity of processing 220k/MT sunflower seeds and processes which equates to 25% of the**
**total sunflower seed harvest in South Africa, is situated in Lichtenburg.
**PURPOSE OF POSITION**:
The purpose of the position is to assist the Solvent plant Operator and monitor
- the solvent plant on a continuous basis.
- **RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES**:

- Continuous inspection of the solvent process to ensure no leaks, faults or

visible defects
- Cleaning of the Solvent plant
- Controlling of equipment working conditions
- Reporting to the Solvent plant operator
- Legal compliance to all safety aspects
- Assisting in any task that the Solvent plant operator may delegate.
- Daily safety tasks and inspections

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12

**- **Forklift license
- **EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**:

- 2 years relevant production experience in seed crushing (preferred, but

not essential)- reserves the right not to fill the position._
