Treasurer

HRTorQue Outsourcing is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Treasurer to join our team in Durban. The Treasurer will play a crucial role in managing the treasury functions for our clients and ensuring efficient and accurate payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage bulk payroll payments (nett pay, third party and legislative) for a large number of clients to meet tight deadlines.
- Oversee the day-to-day treasury operations, including cash flow management, liquidity planning, and bank account reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies related to treasury and payment processing.
- Analyze financial data and market trends to make informed decisions about investment opportunities and risk management strategies.
- Implement and improve treasury management systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and report on the company's cash position and liquidity to senior management.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Provide expertise and guidance on treasury-related matters to internal teams and clients.
- Conduct financial risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management and payment solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data and transactions.
- Proven ability to manage bulk payments for multiple clients under tight deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of treasury principles, banking regulations, and financial markets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using treasury management systems and financial software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
