BluNova is a subsidiary of Blue Label Telecoms responsible for drawing value from its large heterogeneous corpus of data originating from multiple companies within the Blue Label group. With this data, we identify opportunities in the market and develop sustainable solutions to exploit these opportunities. We leverage scalable cloud technologies to deploy our solutions, with a strong emphasis on automation. Most of our data analysis is performed in a distributed spark environment, where we have leg room to spin up large clusters exceeding thousands of cores and terabytes of RAM when needed.

**Job Purpose**

The Digital Innovation Manager role is responsible for growing BluNova by leading the productization and commercialization of its services and products, in collaboration with all stakeholders, and in line with BluNova’s core principles and mission.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Drive Evangelism, Acceptance & Integration of Products & Services**
- Raise and maintain the profile and awareness of BluNova’s activities, expertise, and resources within the BLT Group and more widely
- Understand business models, value drivers, needs and context to identify opportunities for leveraging BluNova data to develop, communicate and deliver existing and new solutions

**Stakeholder Management & Engagement**
- Build and sustain a positive relationship with BLT Group Execs, acting as a trusted advisor, managing the client expectations, addressing issues, tracking, and reporting on the progress of strategic Group projects
- Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective external clients to keep business growth opportunities in the pipeline
- Attend networking events and build industry connections to facilitate business growth

**Project Planning and Management**
- Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value
- Supporting stakeholders in planning sprint iterations
- Lead and direct project management for Operations projects
- Lead project status and working meetings
- Manage risks and issues
- Correct deviations from plans
- Provide input into delivery planning for assigned projects

**Drive commercialization & operational needs of Products**
- Packaging appropriate solutions that commercialise BluNOVA’s products and services, as well as securing their delivery for partner businesses
- Manage a variety of BLT Group strategic projects from initial contact with partners to successful commercialisation of their ideas
- Responsible for the full lifecycle of the projects, from identifying new opportunities and evaluating those to be brought into the BluNOVA portfolio, to protecting, developing, marketing, contractual obligations, managing risk and concluding commercial deals
- Assesses for opportunities for continuous improvement of execution and customer experience

**Team Management**
- Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals

**Innovation & Continuous Improvement**
- Identify innovation trends and business opportunities within the market
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance innovative thinking around the company
- Drive formulation of new, creative, and effective ways of leveraging the business’s vast data store and capabilities set to both resolve existing business needs and develop new business opportunities
- Recommend enhancements to BluNova and its products and services
