Must have a minimum of 8-10 years strategic planning experience in a digital or creative agency
- Bachelor’s degree or four year diploma with marketing or communication focus preferred
- Experience in handling multiple, simultaneous projects
- Team management skills
- Experience in creating and presenting presentations, structuring a clear narrative and argument to sell creative ideas and strategies to the client
- Experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative consumer research to analyse and arrive at logical and insightful conclusions
- The insight to identify problems and take measures to rectify them
- Experience with developing & moderating major workshops
- Excellent written, verbal, and information-seeking skills
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of an organisation
- An enthusiasm for digital and traditional marketing & consumer behaviour and insights
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes
- Minimum of 5 years experience in using at least one of the latest international digital marketing data and planning tools like: GWI, Brandswatch or Google Analytics.
- Think holistically to generate and stimulate holistic creative/business ideas
- Be able to identify strong creative ideas and support through strategic argument
- Lead strategic planning for developing concepts, ideas, and plans for achieving objectives successfully and for meeting and beating the competition
- Work directly with the client service, creative team and/or client to understand their business, brand, and challenges
- Lead development of insights to drive brand campaigns
- Gather, analyse and interpret the data and information from a variety of first and second-party data sources
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative information from the client and propose recommendations that will have tangible marketing and business impact
- Synthesise information to provide thoughtful and well-written conclusions on which to develop a marketing and branding plan for the client
- When necessary, compile Post Campaign Analysis presentations for major client campaigns, with a focus on competitor and consumer insights
- Identify additional opportunities to provide value to the client
- Co-lead in senior client presentations
- Develop, write, and bring key insights to life in major presentations to the client
