Yard Supervisor

Main Duties include:

- The role requires strict adherence to safety standards, collection schedules and manufacturing outputs, as well as ongoing communication with all stakeholders, to ensure daily outputs are achieved safely and efficiently
- Effective supervision of staff
- Ongoing monitoring of compliance to safety, quality, and output requirements in line with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Cross-functional communication, co-ordination and problem-solving
- Participation in growth and continuous improvement activities
- Teamwork and self-management
- Supervisory management
- Relationship-building and facilitation

Criteria:

- Grade 12 (NQF level 3 literacy and numeracy)
- Degree or Diploma in Operations/Production or Management
- 5+ years experience in Logistics/Operations
- Safety and ISO and understanding safety critical components
- Quality Inspection
- Computer Literacy
- Heavy machine certification (trucks, excavator, static machinery
[baler and shredder], front end loader)
- Valid Code 14 with PDP
- Strong planning, organizing, co-ordination and monitoring skills
- analytical, observant, and methodical
- Practical mindset with hands-on approach

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R300,000.00 - R336,000.00 per year
