The Project Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering the project from the inception, procurement, manufacturing/fabrication, construction, commissioning, and close out of the project.

Ensures that the project life cycle is accurately implemented, executed and recorded.

Displays and actively promotes behavior aligned to the Redhead's goals and to create a safe environment for all the project team employees.

Develops and obtain sign-off on the Project Execution Plan (PEP) (developed from the tender documents).

Develops an appropriate project structure and ensures that the entire project team has the required resources to execute the work (PPE, Tools, Spares, Training etc.)

**Resource planning.**

Provides leadership to the project and creates a highly committed and aligned team environment with all who can influence the project’s outcomes.

Ensures governance on the project, specific compliance to Redheads and client delegations of authority, procedures and policies.

Develops and/or reviews a detailed scope of work, cost, and schedule, and manages any project changes in terms of this agreed baseline.

Carries clear responsibility and accountability for the delivery of the project goals as set by the client. Coordinates all client contacts, including major correspondence between Redheads and the client, and maintains working relationships at all levels throughout the period of the project.

Discuss scope changes to the project, suggested or recommended by our client

Resolves problems of coordination, schedule and priority

Achieves alignment on actions and changes required by the team.

Monitors and controls all project contractual commitments to assure that all work is being performed in accordance with the specifications, scope, terms of the contract and client expectations.

Conducts regular project progress and client meetings to review the progress and issues in all disciplines of the project.

Qualification:
Accredited Engineering Qualification - Mechanical.
- **Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management, 3 years of which should be at senior level in the Power / Oil & Gas industry.**_

PMP certification advantageous

**Salary**: R500.00 - R501.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lynnwood, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
