Tyre & Wheel Alignment Specialist

**Introduction**
Our client is looking for an on-site Tyre & Wheel Alignment Specialist to join their team.He/she will be responsible for ensuring the accurate wheel balancing and alignment of all vehicles in operation.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
Inspection of tyre wear and tread measurement to determine tyre replacement needs.
Liases with internal team reagrding tyre requisitions / scrapping as well as tools, machinery and equipment needs.
Accurate fitment and balancing of new/replacement tyres.
Regular inspection of vehicles for alignment issues.
Correction of identified alignment issues as per specifications.
- Determining the root causes of issues and reporting on findings.
- Reporting on additional identified issues and/or damages and providing recommendations
on repair options and methods.
Road testing of aligned/repaired vehicles and vehicle signoff.
Coordination and oversight of the periodic servicing, maintenance and calibration of fitment and alignment machinery, tools, and equipment.
Accurate record keeping of all work performed.
Ensuring good “housekeeping” and efficient organisation of workspace.
Ensuring health and safety measures are adhered to at all times.
Adhoc duties as required by management.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**
Matric + relevant tertiary qualification
Valid driver’s license (code 14)
Relevant specialised machinery and equipment practical training
Operational knowledge of tyre related machinery, tools, and equipment
Working knowledge of computerised alignment systems
Computer literate
