Social Worker

**REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKERS**

Our clients are looking for Social Workers to work in various health care facilities and hospitals in The United Kingdom (incl Northern Ireland) and in the Republic of Ireland.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work with clients, their families and others around them and with different client groups including:

- The elderly
- Children with disabilities
- Teenagers with mental health problems
- Young offenders
- Adults with learning disabilities, mental health problems or physical disabilities
- People with alcohol, drug or other substance abuse problems
- Refugees and asylum seekers
- Families at risk of breaking down
- Children who need to live apart from their families
- Foster carers and adopters
- Children who are at risk of abuse or neglect

The work can involve:

- Visiting clients wherever they are(home, a care home, hospital, prison)
- Assessing clients needs
- Organising support and support groups
- Keeping detailed records

MINUMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Social work degree

2. Registered as a Social Worker

3. Proven 3 years post graduation experience

4. English language proficiency (Academic IELTS minimum score of 7.0 in Reading, Speaking & Listening and no less than 6.5 in Writing OR OET English language exam Grade B in Reading, Speaking & Listening and no less than C+ in Writing)

5. Ability to work without supervision

6. Maintain integrity when dealing with customers confidentiality

7. Willingness to undertake training to develop new skills.

8. An understanding of the needs of our customers

Salary range from £30,000 to £38,000 annually (R57 000 to R73 000 per month)
