**Purpose: Duties and Responsibilities**
- Analysing and reporting on machine performance
- Reduce time to repair equipment
- Establish the spares required and ensure spares are available at the stores.
- Compliance with service and inspection roster as per maintenance plan.
- Run a computerized maintenance system
- Machine inspection and services
- Planning and executing planned maintenance stoppages
- Efficient logging and closing of maintenance job cards
- Plan maintenance inspections or services, checks with project maintenance administrators
- Control project maintenance budget
- Ensure equipment are maintained in a safer manner.**Inherent Requirements**

**Qualification and Experience Requirements**
- Grade 12
- Mechanical Engineering Diploma
- Trade test certificate (Olifantsfontein)
- 3 - 5 years of proven experience in machine and component maintenance
- 3 years in managing and directing a team of artisans to achieve outputs.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Technical (Proven record of maintenance)
- Computer literate (Understands and be able to read the drawings)
