**MEDICAL CENTRE FILING CLERK | HONEYDEW, JOHANNESBURG**

**Purpose**:
Ensure the patient files are available timeously for appointments and messages. Collating, organising, scanning and quality-checking patient’s files in readiness for consultation.

**Key Performance Indicators**
- They ensure the methodical pulling and organising of the patient’s records per centre requirements.
- To store and re-file the patient records within the medical records libraries using the numerical numbering system
- Search for and locate missing files.
- Repair older files
- Scanning of all correspondence, lab, and x-ray reports into the correct patient record, and correct tab, assuring that necessary documents are stored in the correct patient’s file.
- File and maintain records as per filing standard requirements.
- To comply with all relevant centre procedures, regulations and protocols and to maintain confidentiality at all times regarding patient records.

**Qualifications**:

- Matric
- Office Administration qualification (NQF Level 2)
- At least 2 years experience in a similar admin role
- Computer literacy (MS Packages, PaySpace)
- Must be able to type and file accurately.
