Canteen Manageress

A Canteen in Parow Industria is looking for an experienced Manageress to handle operations and productivity. The Canteen also includes a Food Truck, where all food is prepared and ordered through the Canteen and the truck. The Manageress will control operations in both centres on the same site.

You will have the following critical criteria to meet in order to earn your monthly incentives:
Stock Control - Stock take is done by an Audit Firm and must balance every month. All ordering and purchases are done by yourself, and the POS is drawn daily. An audit report shows stock movement, and your job will be to account for shrinkage and wastage.

Food Cost: You will have a target for food cost. This is to do with wastage and shrinkage. Your food cost will have to be on target, and all the controls that you put in place will need to ensure that it gets there.

Staff management and Customer Care: There will be mystery shoppers who are sent to report on service, timing, quality of food and presentation, as well as staff friendliness and cleanliness. These reports will make up the last part of your incentive.

You need to come with the idea that you are going to make a difference from Day 1, and that you are ready to accept ownership of operations including gearing your team to meet critical criteria.
