The Discipline of Chemical Engineering in collaboration with the Department of Higher
Education’s New Generation of Academics’ Programme, has an exciting opportunity
be closely mentored to become an academic through a programme designed to
assist with early career development.

The incumbent will report to the Academic Leader Discipline: Chemical Engineering.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- A BSc Engineering or B. Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering- A Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, with a pass mark of at least 70%
- South African Citizen

The successful applicant will be expected to complete a PhD within 5 years from the
date of assumption of duty.
