**Brief details of position**
Working within the accounts department you will report directly to the Financial Manager. This position is based in Bellville. You shall assist with a range of accounting matters and financial control issues.
**Purpose of the position**
To assist in ensuring high quality and timely management information, stewardship of company assets, regular accounting records updates and good financial relationships with customers, suppliers, staff and stakeholders.
**Qualifications and experience**
- The job holder should have proven cash control, purchase ledger and debtors ledger experience and a thorough understanding of the procedures involved in this type of role.
- Proficiency on Pastel/Business Central
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Strong numerical skills
**Duties**
- Check and process cash ups and control accounts
- Processing daily bank reconciliations
- Manage the debtors - pricing and collections
- Manage creditors - approvals and correct allocation of costs
- COS of sale movements in the correct place
- Maintain fixed asset register and supporting documents
- Balancing control accounts daily
- Petty Cash
- Importing stock movements and checking balances
- Any other ad hoc duties
