Warehouse Manager

**IS LOOKING FOR AN WAREHOUSE MANAGER - OPERATIONS**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have previous management or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment Must be a person of reliability, integrity and character
- Must be able to work without supervision
- Must be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), knowledge of Kerridge K8 is an advantage.
- Must have Matric Certificate, further qualifications in this field will be an advantage
- Must have Code 8 drivers licence
- Must have contactable past/present references of similar position

**DUTIES**
- Collaborating with Warehouse Manager Technical in coordinating warehouse operations and distribution functions
- Supervision, motivation and coaching of staff in the Warehouse
- Controlling movement of stock in and out of the warehouse and warehouse security.
- Moving/Packing of stock onto shelves.
- Security of merchandise in the warehouse.
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are always applied.
- Working extended hours as and when required by Management and/or clients.
- Ensure compliancy to standard OSHAC practices for Warehouse and Distribution
- Drive high levels of customer service both internally and externally.
- Cycle counting of stock is performed continuously and all variances investigated and resolved.
- Develop and maintain good housekeeping policies and procedures
- Drive efficiencies and optimise processes to manage costs and improve services levels.
- Manage the distribution fleet, vehicle licencing and making sure the vehicles are always roadworthy, neat and well maintained.
