**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
Responsible for the logistics relating to the people’s movement from end to end. These activities include planning the move, procuring the required furniture/assets and asset management. Asset management and daily updates on Fix and Movable asset within the campus.

**MAJOR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist the space planner by analyzing the space plan and utilization.
- Continuously evaluating and assessing the lay out to manage and mitigate risks.
- Ensure that furniture and fixtures are properly placed to allow free movement.
- Liaise with the client regarding dates and times for the planned move.
- Maintaining the asset register - Fix and Movable Assets.
- Maintaining the furniture according to the required standards.
- Manage and coordinate with various suppliers, contractors and manufactures to ensure that the required furniture or fixtures meet the required standards.
- Measure the dimensions of an office or space to determine the size of cubicles, desks, cabinets and other required furniture
- Performs daily inspection to ensure that the approved space layout has been carried out or that it is still in place.
- Provide advise and recommendation relating to the procurement of assets.
- Procure furniture according to the client’s request and the required standards.
- Providing required tools for movement, such as boxes and trollies.
- Responsible for the movement of the movable assets, such as IT equipment, furniture, etc.
- Work closely with the safety team to ensure compliance.
- Work with space planner to ensure that the space layout and the furniture required meets the required standards.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Knowledge of OHS regulations and any other relevant laws and regulations
- Matric certificate
- Tertiary qualification in Interior design, architect or relevant qualification
- 3-5 years of office or workplace planning experience

- Good communication skills (Written & verbal)
