**Main Purpose of the Job**
- The Factory Charge-Hand will be responsible for managing a small team assign to manufacturing product in the factory and or on-site and assist with all tasks pertaining to manufacturing according to specifications.
- The incumbent will employ sound knowledge of Roll Forming Systems to achieve end products without compromising quality and safety.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ensure the quality of end products in the factory
- Ensure that scrap metal is always mínimal and under budget while manufacturing
- Complete all administrative duties accurately i.e. zone controls and daily production
- Ensure that Roll Forming Machines are maintained and in good working order
- Inspect all measuring equipment, gauges and tools are kept in a good working condition
- Monitor the use of rolling fluids per machine
- Verify Coil movement recording
- Train and develop new and existing operators on the Roll Forming, Cranking Machines and production processes.
- Report all manufacturing delays to the Branch Manager immediately.**Inherent Requirements**

**Qualifications & Experience Required**
- Matric Certificate
- Valid Driver’s licence is essential
- Full Knowledge and understanding of Roll Forming Machines, Flash Line, and Cranking Machines
- Sound knowledge of the South African Roofing Industry
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in a production environment within a steel manufacturing company
- Minimum 5 years experience in supervisory role
- Must be able to work under pressure
