- ROLE DESCRIPTION

Our Brand Domain team is looking for a hardworking Associate Account Director to join us in delivering excellence to our clients. We ultimately strive to grow our clients’ businesses, through developing a deep understanding of their brands, unpacking the impact of their marketing activities against their strategies and identifying potential growth opportunities for their brands. In this role you will be responsible for the research design, planning and execution of projects within agreed timelines, scope and budgets. The role entails leading a portfolio of clients, and a small team of researchers. Encouraging confidence and motivating your team to excel, along with developing quality research skills would be key focus areas. You will suit this role if you are passionate about marketing, brands, and research in general, lead your time well, have strong attention-to-detail, are hard-working, confident and able to grasp new concepts quickly.

Key Outcomes

Management of studies and resources using research principles and Kantar systems:

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Completed tertiary education - degree in Marketing, eg. B Com/B Bus Sc skills
- required: (preferably Hons)
- Strong marketing (research) knowledge - at least 5 to 7 years’ experience, with at least 3 years in leading teams
- Experience in brand research is beneficial but not a prerequisite for the role
- Analytical ability with proven numeracy skills (Skills will be tested)
- Computer literacy - excellent knowledge on all MS Office packages
- Marketing knowledge and a thorough understanding of marketing research principles
- Learning attitude - quick learner / able to grasp concepts easily
- Confident and able to establish relationships with people easily
- Proactive and with a positive demeanor
- Ability to take ownership and to work independently
- A team builder - builds and maintains strong relationships with staff
- Excellent client relationship development skills
