Position: Plant Manager: Earthmoving & Construction.

Nature of contract: Permanent

Office Location: Kya Sands

Site Location: Various site visits when required.

**Requirements**:
Education / Qualification

Grade 12 / N6

Section 28D or Nat. Diploma Mech. Eng

Training / Experience
- 7 to 10 years’ relevant experience working with earthmoving and Construction machinery.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform Plant machinery inspections and condition evaluation
- Facilitate carrying out of Plant preventative maintenance
- Climb in, out and under machines to do thorough inspections
- Generate a report with pictures & descriptions on the individual issues picked up
- Generate a job card for the mechanics to perform repair work to be done on the machines
- Interact with suppliers on machinery components and services required
- Guide and supervise mechanics
- Ensure that the company systems and procedures are followed
- Ensure a safe and productive work environment is created
- Install and instil enthusiasm and passion in the mechanism.
- Must be able to travel nationwide upon request of the client.
