**Position Summary**

**In this role you will have to**:

- Use all available data and analytics tools to determine the effectiveness of campaigns and constantly optimize toward better results
- Find and test potential new marketing channels/ traffic sources
- Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI).
- Analyze the effectiveness of the campaign and use this data to improve future campaigns.
- Proficiency in negotiation, robust critical thinking skills, and the ability to build trust and rapport with both clients and media professionals are crucial.
- An in-depth understanding of contemporary digital media channels is a prerequisite. Your overarching objective will be to optimize ad exposure, outperform competitors, and adeptly manage budgets for maximal impact
- In the role of Digital Media Buyer, your responsibilities will involve strategic media buying, optimising campaigns, managing budgets, negotiating with vendors, and analysing performance.
- Your expertise will play a pivotal role in enhancing the success of our digital advertising campaigns and growth for our organisation.

**Key Responsibilities Success in this role will be defined by**:

- Your ability to analyse and optimise content on various digital media channels, particularly Google and Social Media, additionally managing of affiliates and Digital Signal Processors (DSP’s) to maximise ad performance.
- Meeting deadlines and maintaining effective communication with team members and clients, ensuring timely responses and updates.
- Maintaining profitability on assigned ad accounts and achieving budget goals.
- Take ownership of reporting results to your direct manager, and developing problem-solving skills to bring creative solutions, be it in marketing or other areas. Your role will include various tasks, such as:

- Lead strategy and manage paid marketing campaigns for Social Media Ads on Meta/Facebook and Google. Experience with other channels is a plus (Youtube Ads, Tiktok Ads, Snapchat Ads, Pinterest etc.)
- Be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing the overall VAS digital marketing strategy including: content and ad strategy, brand strategy (where appropriate), Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), and Lifetime Value (LTV) generation.
- Maintain digital marketing budgets
- Analyse campaign data and reporting on recommendations and strategy on a weekly and monthly basis within ad management platforms
- Work closely with the design team to strategize ad content and execute marketing campaigns in various tones of voice for different products
- Stay up-to-date with digital media technologies and the latest trends
- Simultaneously create a structure and build processes in back end functions and strategy
- Manage the scope of project requirements (develop a detailed project plan and monitor progress)
- Proactively explore trends, new campaign ideas, and new marketing methods to push products
- Identify new digital promotional opportunities
- Conduct competitor research analysis on an ongoing basis

**Other duties**:

- Help identify target audiences and plan media campaigns
- Compare and negotiate rates, ad space and airtime
- Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix
- Prepare schedules and adjust when needed
- Experiment with new platforms and channels
- Ensure ads are creative and displayed appropriately

- Mandatory expertise in online media advertising buying and a background in the VAS industry.
- Familiarity with diverse billing flows, including Direct Carrier Billing and other Mobile payments.
- Proven track record of successfully overseeing digital marketing campaigns, managing accounts, creating content, and handling communications.
- Beneficial experience with programmatic networks and channels such as Facebook, DSP/RTB, Criteo, AdRoll, Instagram Ads, TikTok, and Snapchat.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Proficient in data analysis using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, GSuite, and other data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and proficiency in quantitative reasoning and data analysis.
- Demonstrated success in planning and managing digital marketing campaigns for diverse clients across various industries.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to work with a range of tools and software.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and team management skills, with experience in using Slack considered an asset.
- Comfortable and adept at learning complex and challenging topics.
- Capacity to receive and implement constructive feedback while taking responsibility for assigned tasks and client interactions.
