Preschool Caregiver

A vacant position is available for a preschool caregiver. Duties will include but not limited to:

- Prepare, organize, and supervise mealtimes and snacks.
- Keep track of grocery supplies
- Supervise children during outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Plan and supervise balanced routines that include physical activities, rest, and playtime.
- Provide responsible care and maintain all safety standards.
- Ensure a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment.
- Maintain professional and positive relationships with parents, children, and staff.
- Notify supervisors and parents of any signs of emotional or developmental issues.
- Provide structure and accountability that is firm but compassionate.
- Assist children in the bathroom or with diapering tasks as needed.
- Encourage children to participate in all activities.
- Design and implement educational, age appropriate activities.
- Plan, implement and supervise structured, educational group activities.
- Observe for any signs of disease or discomfort
- Discuss with supervisors and parents regarding any unusual behavior on their children’s part.
- Take specific instructions from parents regarding food habits and allowable food items.
- Evaluate children based on individually based metrics and develop appropriate reports by following the facility’s policies.
- Record information regarding any allergies or problems that children may have.

**Salary**: R3,500.00 - R6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
