**Description**:
Minimum Requirements:

- Matric certificate / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology / relevant (A+, N+, MCSA, NCSE or similar)
- 2 years’ experience as a Desktop Support Technician, Network Support Technician or Systems Administrator
- Experience working on, configuring and troubleshooting computer networks (TCP/IP, configuration, subnets, DNS, VPN, etc)
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Azure, DevOps build pipelines and continuous integration (advantageous)
- Office365 administration tools and functions (advantageous)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, Server Management and network security

**Experience**:

- At lease 1 years’ experience in the IT industry specifically Desktop Support
- Desktop Hardware, Software (Microsoft products) and Windows operating systems
- Peripheral installations and fault diagnosis
- Basic understanding of Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11
- Basic understanding of LAN cabling and network topology (ethernet)
- Basic understanding of SIP and VoIP (advantageous)
- Be a South African citizen
- Have good contactable references
- Have a clear criminal record
- Have a good credit history (clean)
- Well organized with good verbal and written communication skills
- Good leadership skills and commitment to customer service
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to handle confidential matters, set priorities and work well under pressure with high attention to detail

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Providing technical support across the company, including remotely using Team Viewer, telephone, or Microsoft Teams.
- Resolving hardware, software (including in-house), and network problems by working with end users, other technical personnel, and external service providers.
- Installing, maintaining, optimising, and configuring software, including Windows operating systems and settings.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of processes, systems, knowledge base, and third-party relationships.
- Ensuring best practices are followed and that all software is safe and appropriately licensed.
- Ensuring security and privacy of computers and network systems.
- Monitoring networks and hardware for unauthorized use
