Procurement Clerk

The Procurement Clerk works under supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager and will assist with procurement tasks within the Maintenance and Store Openings Departments.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Receive information from Projects Manager on new stores
- Assist with procurement calculations
- Request quotations, negotiate prices, get quotes approved, send confirmations to supplier and arrange a delivery date for all materials for new stores
- Assist with delivery checks and counts
- Assist in updating the truck list
- Troubleshooting materials missing for stores
- Assist with ordering alarms systems
- Follow up with warehouse stock take
- Ensure all Procurement Items are delivered to the Warehouse and Store on time
- Ensure all Material required for the project are prepared on a checklist and packed onto the truck for the project
- Sourcing Accommodation for Shop fitters when needed
- Assist with all adhoc duties required in the Maintenance and Store Openings Departments
**Skills & Requirements**:
- Diploma or Bachelors in Supply Chain and Logisitics
- Comprehensive Microsoft office skills are required
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Meet deadlines on a consistent basis
- Attention to detail
- Ability to compile professional and thorough reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Assist with all adhoc duties required in the department
Pay: R57,00 - R58,00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
**Education**:
- Certificate (required)
**Experience**:
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)
