PMO Lead

The purpose of the role is to establish and run the SAP Global Template Implementation PMO in line with Global PMO standards.

Ideally, at least 7 years experience in a similar role
Previous direct involvement in a SAP Transformation project

- Ensure the PMO has a good understanding of the Global PGT PMO standards, tools and ways of working
- Work with the Business and IT Lead to define and implement the governance framework
- Ensure the implementation of sound project management standards and templates for the effective planning, monitoring and delivery of the programme and its constituent projects in line with the Global PGT standards
- Oversee the onboarding of programme and project staff providing briefings on their roles and responsibilities, governance arrangements and ways of working
- Ensure the implementation of consistent quality management practices and standards, and monitor performance
- Facilitate quality, stage gate and readiness reviews
- Prepare status reports and presentation packs on behalf of the programme management team for the various governance forums
- Support supplier liaison and integration across the programme
- Work with suppliers to define resource requirements and monitor allocation of supplier resources
- Perform supplier contracts monitoring
- Monitor supplier performance against schedule and quality standards and work with the programme management team to recommend corrective actions, as required
- Ensure the effective identification and ongoing management of programme risks, issues and changes, ensuring that the impact is appropriately analysed and that it has a nominated owner and actionee
- Regularly examine risk, issue and change registers across the programme to identify common themes and discuss this with the programme management team to evaluate the net effect on the programme
- Ensure that risks, issues and changes are appropriately escalated and dealt with at the right level within the programme
- Provide a secretariat function to the Change Authority, Operating Committee and Steering Committee
- Set team objectives, one-to-one reviews and evaluation, and continual improvement of the PMOs services
- Manage the workload of the team and prioritisation of ad-hoc work requests versus core team deliverables
