**Position Overview**:
**One of the top financial services groups** has an exciting new opportunity available for an experienced** Quality Assurance Consultant.**

The main purpose of this position is to **develop, implement, and improve** the **quality management framework** **(QMF),** **standards, processes and procedures** for the **built environment** and **ensure compliance** thereto in the group.

**_ Key Performance Areas:_**
- _Develop the groups _**_quality management framework, procedures, processes_**_, and standards for the _**_built environment_**_._
- _Advise and guide the business in the implementation of the _**_QMF systems_**_ and the prioritisation of _**_QMF activities_**_._
- _Coordinate the _**_testing process of products and equipment/raw materials_**_ by laboratories and/or testing facilities._
- _Create a _**_Quality Assurance (QA) baseline_**_ and assess levels of compliance._
- _Develop a framework in alignment with international _**_quality management system (QMS- ISO9001)_**_ and set progressive targets._
- _Conduct inspections and _**_compile non-conformity reports (NCR)._**:

- _Recommend _**_mitigating measures_**_, guide and monitor the implementation of the mitigating measures and ensure that deviations from and non-conformance to the policy, procedures and standards are addressed._
- _Ensure that all major and registered _**_projects have controlled QA plans_**_._
- **_Prepare management reports_**_ for all audits, findings, and NCR._
- _Develop a universe for all related _**_Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)._**:

- **_Develop study material (manual_**_) and deliver/coordinate the _**_training of all technical and operational staff as per QMS_**_._

**To be considered for this position, one must have**:

- A minimum of a **Bachelor of Technology** or **Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management (NQF7)** or **equivalent technical stream**.
- **Professional registration** with a **recognised Statutory Council**.
- A **minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience** in a **Quality Management position**, with **at least 3-year exposure** in **Built Environment** and/or **Mining Sector**.
- **International Certification in ISO9000** as **Auditor** or equivalent.
- **Exposure in highly technical, projects and complex operational environment**.
