**Key Responsibilities**: Planning & trims store managed - prioritize work load Planning: allocate style to various cmt’s based on profile ie. styling/ fabric / size of plant & capacity Responsible to ensure process is streamlined throughout the product life cycle. Trouble shoot problems and queries in order to ensure production not delayed. Negotiate cmt prices and elevate if not coming into required cost. Communicate final agreed cost to Accounts Department. Communicate / request extensions to line manager and trading division Link with fabric and dispatch departments (logistics) for goods to be delivered and collected Draw up a dispatch/ style collection list on a daily basis. Priority List for the grading and marking department. Ensure priorities are achieved. WIP and stock on hand figures to be published to the Executive team every morning Every Mon/ Wed and Friday to print off priority list for Design Room Manager (ie. all styles not sealed - alterations, restyles etc). Chase up samples through internal process in order to issue timeously into production Print list for Merchandiser’s assistant to mail for the Final Orders Order price tickets online (ITL and Avery Dennison) Communicate with CMT’s re: delays in shipping and check if deliveries will be met or extensions required. Forward planning to ensure that CMT’s are on track and can achieve their deliveries. Update Tracker with monthly units planned per CMT per month for the Trading Division
**Qualifications and Experience**: Qualification/s: - Preferable a diploma in Clothing production management or similar or BCom degree Experience / Knowledge: - Work experience in an ERP system or similar enterprise resource planning systems - Minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience as a clothing production planner - Worked as a production planner for an established clothing manufacturer either in a design warehouse or factory - A solid working knowledge of fabric and trims procurement and supply chain management - A solid working knowledge of manufacturing critical path management - Computer literate with above average excel experience and knowledge
