Bakery Assistant

**Duties and responsibilities**

This role will include, but not limited to:

- Ensure all baked goods are stored and packaged correctly
- Experience working in a bakery creating and baking croissants
- Cleaning kitchen and bakery equipment
- Measure, weigh and prepare ingredients in accordance with recipes
- Closely monitor baking process to ensure final products meet set standard

**Job requirements**
- Proven experience in a bakery environment is required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Knowledge on how to work in a safe, practical and organized manner

**Job type**: Full-time

**Salary**: R24,87 per hour
