We are looking for a Regional Trainer to join the HR Training department in the Eastern Cape and will be based at our East London Distribution Center. **Purpose of the Role**:
To identify and monitor training within own region. Conduct Skills and Learnership Training programmes. Assess and moderate Learnerships, skills and operational training.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- 5 Years Retail (store) Experience. HR / Learning & Development will be advantageous.
- Matric - Assessor/facilitator certificate and/or HR qualification will be advantageous
- NQF 5 with Assessor/Facilitator and Moderator certificate; or HR Qualification
- Valid driver’s license - this is not negotiable
- Ability to travel extensively
- Proficient in Excel

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting Training programmes and identifies training needs / gaps within region
- Quality Assurance - Conducts assessments according to ETQA requirements and assist with moderations
- Mentoring and monitor progress of all learners in the region
- Identify training gaps and up skill people
- Prepare training schedules for group training
- Follow up on training done for OHS, Shrinkage, fire, forklift/reach truck, first aid
- Communication with operations - Continually liaise/feedback with Store Regional Managers on a formal basis by attending their regional meetings
- New store openings
- Assessing & moderation within the region of all skills programs
