is seeking a couple Trails Guide & other Partner Guest Services

**5* Game Lodge Experience is a definite Requirement**

The Trails Guide’s role is to take guests on Walks / Trails and host them for their entire stay.

This role also requires some co-ordination of the guests stay, ensuring that from arrival to departure they experience an original and memorable time in the African bush.

The Trails Guide plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of the guests at all times. We value feedback and put a lot of emphasis on responding to feedback in the running of all aspects of the Lodge.

**Trails Guide Requirements**:
**Qualifications / Experience**:

- South African Citizen
- 4 to 5 years experience guiding in 5 Star Establishments
- General knowledge of legal implications of being a Field Guide
- FGASA NQ4 or Professional
- NDT Registered
- Valid Driver’s License and PrDP
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Rifle Accreditations and ARH
- Trails Guide with VPDA
- Astronomy knowledge advantageous
- Off-road driving in 4x4 vehicles

**Guest Services Supervisor requirements**:
The role requires co-ordination of the guests stay, ensuring that from arrival to departure they experience an authentic and memorable time. This will include overseeing and hosting meals, orientation of the lodge and the rooms on arrival, booking activities, engaging with guests, delivering bespoke service and special touches and making guests feel comfortable and at home. We value feedback and put a lot of emphasis on responding to feedback in the running of all aspects of the lodges. The part you play is ensuring that from arrival to departure guests’ expectations are anticipated, met and exceeded where possible.

**Qualifications / Experience**
- South African Citizen
- Preferably 2 years experience in 5 Star establishments
- Hotel or Tourism School (or similar qualifications)
- Hosting experience ie. maître, waiter, barman
- Wine knowledge (preferable but not essential)
- English speaking, fluent in written English
- Driver’s license essential

Live-in basic furnished accommodation (shared with partner)
- Meals whilst on duty
- R1167.00 monthly allowance at our stores for purchasing food
- Medical Aid - Company contribution 50% (after 3-month successful probation period)
- Pension Fund - Company contribution 50% (after 3-month successful probation period)
- Gratuities left by guests
- 20 bed nights for family and friends annually at R500 p/p/p/night
- Uniform allowance (after 3-month successful probation period)

- 5* Game Lodge: 3 years (preferred)
