Our Client based in Sandton Johannesburg is currently recruiting for a trichologist to join his team.

A Trichologist is a specialized healthcare professional who focuses on diagnosing and treating conditions related to the hair and scalp. The primary responsibilities of a Trichologist include conducting thorough assessments of patients' hair and scalp health, identifying underlying causes of hair and scalp issues, and developing personalized treatment plans to address these concerns. Trichologists may also provide advice on hair care practices, recommend appropriate products, and perform treatments such as scalp massages or laser therapy.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' hair and scalp conditions.
2. Identify underlying causes of hair and scalp issues, such as hair loss, dandruff, or scalp infections.
3. Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and concerns.
4. Provide advice on hair care practices, including proper grooming techniques and product recommendations.
5. Perform treatments such as scalp massages, laser therapy, or other specialized procedures.
6. Monitor and track patients' progress throughout the treatment process.
7. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in trichology to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as trichology, dermatology, or cosmetology.
2. Certification or licensure as a Trichologist.
3. Strong knowledge of hair and scalp anatomy, physiology, and common conditions.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
6. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
7. Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of trichology.
