**Role Overview**

DigiBlu, a company of BP3 is looking to build a pipeline of strong Senior Business Analysts for our 2024 client pipeline.

The Senior Automation Analyst identifies what processes and activities to automate, in what way, using what Automation technological capabilities and then designs the To-Be ways of working to inform the configuration of the automations. They elicit the business requirements, they project manage each process stream from project conception through to production, they ensure the automations are thoroughly tested and work in production, and they ensure that the business is ready to accept the changes to the ways of working.

**Requirements**:
Leads the planning and execution of the **Opportunity Assessment **as part of the Define stage of the automation lifecycle:

- Confirms in-scope processes, develops the process catalogue, and understands the As-Is processes
- Identifies automation patterns and develops high-level conceptual solution for automation
- Determines process automation potential (i.e. suitability), determines expected benefit and ease of implementation
- Develops scoring, ranking and sequencing of automations.
- Develops the roadmap for implementation and associated business case
- Uses process / task mining to assist with Opportunity Assessments including setup and configuration of the platform and analysis of processes using the tool to identify automation opportunities, build fact-based business cases and roadmaps

Conducts **analysis, solutioning and design** work as part of the Design stage:

- Understands the in-scope operational area, IT landscape, end-to-end process value chain and activities per process step
- Documents the AS-IS processes and captures process data and relevant baseline metrics.
- Analyses the process flows to identify automation patterns and design To-Be / reengineered process states executed by humans and IA (i.e. high-level solution blueprint and detailed process design)
- Use process mining and BPMN for process discovery, documentation and analysis.
- Develops implementation plan for development of the automations with detailed business case.

**Responsible for the Solution** during the Deliver stage:

- Acts as the central point of coordination between IA development team and senior stakeholders, business process owners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to for example close knowledge gaps and facilitate reviews.
- Briefs the IA development team on the solution blueprint and detailed process design to inform the development of the Automation Work Instruction (AWI) (for the automation build including non-functional requirements and exception handing scenarios and process metrics such as volumes, SLAs, and cycle times.
- Works closely with developers to understand and assist with the system design and build of the automations, ensuring they deliver a solution that meets the business requirements.
- Plans, defines scenarios and facilitates user acceptance testing.
- Documents operational run books that describe the steps of the automated process and exception scenarios.
- Responsible for obtaining sign off from the appropriate business process owners prior to deploying the robotic process into production.
- Provides training to the business process SMEs and their teams on performing the new process using robotics (train on new methods of working)

Responsible for **Project Management** through the Define, Design and Deliver stages for each process automation:

- Setup of projects and allocation of resource budget on Kantata.
- Development of project charters and mobilisation of the project with internal teams and with client teams (process owners and SMEs).
- Active project management to ensure that the project workstreams deliver quality contracted deliverables on time, in scope, and in budget.
- Facilitation of weekly stand-ups with internal and client teams to drive delivery.
- General project management tasks such as status reports, risk and issues management, and management of project budget.
- Raising of invoices as per the contracted payment schedule

**Solution owner** for specific IA technologies:

- Develop a deep understanding of specific technologies and play a SME role for this technology within the consulting team
- Maintain and evolve the DigiBlu knowledge base and methodology as it relates to the specific IA technology
- Provide training to internal and client teams on the methodology

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role in the consulting or services industry
