Daytime Restaurant in Milpark is looking for a Junior Manager. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for their guests. This multifaceted position combines the responsibilities of a **Head Waiter, Host, and Junior Manager** to promote efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
**Responsibilities**:
**Guest Relations**:
- Welcome and greet guests with a warm and friendly manner.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining area.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly.
**Staff Coordination**:
- Supervise and guide waiter staff to maintain high service standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate specials and operational details.
**Service Excellence**:
- Oversee the dining room flow to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- Monitor table turnover, anticipating and addressing potential issues.
- Assist in serving during peak times to support the waitstaff.
**Problem Resolution**:
- Handle customer complaints and issues with tact and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the management team to address and resolve operational challenges
**Training and Development**:
- Assist in training new staff members, ensuring they understand service expectations.
- Provide ongoing guidance to junior team members for professional growth.
- Implement and enforce hygiene and safety standards.
**Shift Management**:
- Take charge during shifts, ensuring efficient and organized operations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to manage order pacing and quality control
- Fully responsible for all cleaning duties to be completed before & after service
- Eye for detail in all the areas where customers are served
- Delegate and maintain a meticulously clean store.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
