Iicl Inspector

Our national client in the Shipping Container industry requires your qualification and experience as an IICL Certified Inspector for their Cape Town Container Depot.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Inspect empty container such as Reefer, Open-top and flap track
- Ensure all inbound containers are properly inspect in accordance to IICL and criteria set by Shipping Line
- Identify appropriate repair and cleaning method after thorough inspection
- Prepare Repair/Cleaning estimate on Estimate Damage Sheet.
- Take photos of container condition and upload to system.
- Document check such as E-token, Delivery Order, EIR, Acceptance letter etc.
- Forward ‘estimate and damage sheet’ to the coordination department for further processing
- Segregate the container by shipping lines and/or the type of repair/cleaning required and instruct the forklift drivers to load/offload containers to the designated locations

Please note that this is an outsourced position and you will be employed by us as the agency and assigned to the client for the duration of your assignment.
