What will you do?
Responsible for initiating, structuring and marketing of moderately complex to complex derivatives as well as related instruments to clients. Provides tailor-made solutions combining derivative products, which could include forex, interest rates, credit and commodities. Manages all aspects of the transaction inclusive of the client relationship, legal documentation, modelling, credit ratings, accounting and taxation. What will make you successful in this role? The role will form part of the Product Development Team to enable and support the design and structuring of financial solutions for Sanlam shareholders, policyholders and clients. This includes: Preparing financial models, Performing data analysis, Conduct and compile industry/market research and product development to provide the most appropriate range of products to clients Assistance with preparing product approval documents Provide feedback and presentations to stakeholders Engaging with banks, pricing derivatives and structured derivative trades Assist the team in solving problems through designing innovative solutions that meet the needs of the client as well as benefit the shareholder. Prior experience of local and international derivative markets will be preferred.
